    Description

1949 Pennsylvania Railroad Calendar never used. Attached pad shows all 12 months with no damage.
24" long, 26" wide with hang tab at top
Except for being rolled, it is in very good to excellent condition. It will need to be flattened. See notes below about artist Grif Teller
One small corner (see photo) shows a couple of spots on a blank corner where 1983 is printed.
The right top edge has some small edge roughness, as shown in another photo.
It has been stored in a cardboard tube. I purchased it five years or more ago, and it remained in the tube after that.
It will be shipped in a priority mail triangular box for tubes.
Grif Teller painted pictures for Pennsylvania Railroad Calendars from 1928 to the late 50s, with a brief break during World War II. This picture was also the cover for the 1949 Calendar, as well as appearing on the cover of the 102nd Annual Report for year ending Dec. 1948 (published in 1949). It is titled "Main Lines-Freight and Passenger. According to Wikimedia.org, it shows "a westbound passenger trained hauling by a GG1 on the PPR'sfour-track Main Line, and passes under a freight hauled by a J1 on the low-grade freight-line crossing the Whitford Flyover."
