Description

Fully soldered and tested board for the Pirate metal detector, with two variable resistors for easy adjustment of the metal detector. The speaker is soldered to the board and the wires for connecting the coil (
15 cm
long) are brought out. The microcircuits on the board are installed on the sockets! Also on the board are high-precision capacitors to prevent the temperature drift of the metal detector during operation.
Our board uses the K157UD2 or KR143UD1B microcircuit. Both microcircuits show high stability.
The board has mounting holes for mounting the board to the screws in the case, and there is also a hole on the board for the central post of the case.

With the coil connected, the metal detector board consumes 40-55mA, therefore, as a power source for the Pirate metal detector, we recommend using a 12V 1.3A battery, or a cassette of 8 AA AA batteries. Or another 9-12 volt source.
When working with a standard PIRATE metal detector coil (21 turns with a 0.7mm wire) with a diameter of 28cm, the pirate board shows the following results:
