This set was officially licensed and released by Harley Davidson in 1997, and made for them by the venerable United States Playing Card Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, It commemorates Harley’s rich past, from 1903-1950, with 2 decks of playing cards displaying historical motorcycles from Harley’s heritage! The cards are still sealed, and come in a red and black tin featuring a 1935 Harley on the top. The tin and the entire set is new, although the outer cardboard sleeve does display some very minor wear (see pics).
255,000 of these sets were made in 1997, and this is limited edition #201803. The high number is deceiving, because many of them were used, and haven’t survived in new condition. This set is brand new, never opened, the cards are still sealed, and the tin and cards are in mint condition. Set includes original cardboard outer sleeve in near mint condition.
