The GPX 6000 metal detector from Minelab, is the latest addition to its professional and trusted gold detectors developed exclusively for gold prospecting of natural gold nuggets.
The GPX 6000 introduced a new GeoSense-PI technology that enhance existing pulse induction technologies to offer more sensitivity and more depth in detection of gold.
The GPX 6000 is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2021 with promising new features and enhanced performance.
GeoSense-PI Technology
GeoSense-PI is a completely New Technology introduced in the GPX 6000, it is a huge improvement on the old pulse induction technology with better sensitivity and depth to reach the smallest and hardest to find gold nuggets.
GPX 6000 Uses
The GPX 6000 is designed to find natural gold nuggets, and as a result, it can be used for the following:
Natural gold prospecting in different soils and terrain.
Detection of small gold nuggets.
Locate buried relics made of different metals.
Golden treasure detection such as golden coins and jewelry.
Modern User-Friendly Design
The GPX 6000 has been designed to be user-friendly to offer the prospector a comfortable user experience when searching for gold in different environments and terrain. With it's carbon fiber lower shaft it is much lighter than previous models.

The GPX 6000 metal detector includes the following coils:
1 – Waterproof 11" Mono-Loop coil.
2 – Waterproof 17" Elliptical Mono-Loop coil.
Both coils are waterproof or submersible up to 1 meter or 3.3 feet
Power
The GPX 6000 operates using a pair of rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries which provide 8 hours of continuous operation.
Audio Output
The GPX 6000 provides two audio output options, either via built-in loud speaker or via provided Bluetooth headphones.
